It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Scalley of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hess and Bernadine Hess; her brother-in-law Gary Shyjka; and her cousin Linda Hanks. She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Larkin and Denise Sheak (Jim); her grandsons, Justin Larkin (Rachel), Tim Sheak, Nathan Larkin and Billy Sheak; her sisters, Barb Shyjka and Becky Hess; her cousin Judy Dean; her nephews, Jason Shyjka (Tammy) and Todd Shyjka; and her close friend Greg.
In lieu of flowers, plant a tree in memory of Carol.
