He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Schuckert (McVan); and his siblings, Jim, Jack, Jay, Gary Lee Schuckert and Joanne Blackwood.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schuckert (Saffel); his siblings, Beverly Davison (Jack), Paul Schuckert (Betty) and Linda Walker; and his sister-in-law Carol Schuckert. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillside Memorial Park (1025 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312).
