With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Calvin Haslem Jr. of Akron, Ohio, born in Marshallville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Haslem, Sr. and Mary Jane Haslem; his sisters, Ruthie Haslem, Mary L. Bell and Mary E. Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Willie J. Smith, William E and Bell (Scrapper); his nephew Ryan Johnson; his great-nieces, Emonnie Parham, Savannah Haslem and Rachelle Johnson; and also Lindsay Michelle Rigby.

He is survived by: his siblings, Bettye Ferguson, Gwen Smith, Willie R. Porter, Teddie Haslem and Keith Johnson; and his daughter LaQuesha Haslem. He is also survived by MANY nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives and friends.
