He is survived by: his wife Carol Martin-Bowers; his children, Rick Bowers (Diana) and Becky Schapel; his stepson Chad Melnik (Ansley); his grandchildren, Lauren, Preston Bowers, Cade, Coby, Lucy Schapel, Cooper and Bo Grinde; and his in-laws, Charles Schultz, Marv and MaryAnn Nordwall.
