She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Mitchell Shaffer; her parents, Richard Tanner and Dessie Tanner; her sons, Johnny and Rick; and her siblings, Leroy, Glenn, James, Gene, Dale Tanner and Dottie Tanner.
She is survived by: her son Randall Shaffer (Jodi) of Cuyahoga Falls; her sister Helen Cook (Bob) of Akron; her grandchildren, Mitchell Shaffer (Kelly), Reyanne Shaffer, Ricky Shaffer, Makalyn, Ayreana Roush and Jaloni Lockhart; and her great grandchildren, Valerie and Audrey Shaffer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help care for her estate.
