He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Collins and Mary Collins (Watkins); his wife Mae Collins; and his siblings, Thomas Collins, Sr. and Francis Collins.

He is survived by: his siblings, Dan Collins, Joyce Horvath and Mary Collins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
