She was predeceased by: her parents, Cassie Grant and Ada Grant (Simmons); her former husband Felton Shropshire Jr.; her husband James Jackson; her son Charles Grant; her sisters, Lillie Mae Grant, Gladys G. Tucker, Roberta G. Myrick and Ruby Lee May; and her cousin Jimmy Lee Simmons.
She is survived by: her grandson Edward Turner; her sister Johnnie C. May; and her children, Barbara Turner, Felton Shropshire III, Mildred Shropshire, Willie Shropshire (Shawn) and Marguerite Jackson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
