He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Lee Ervin Jr. and Janet B. Bates; his grandparents, Charles Bates, Gladys Bates, Taylor Ervin Sr. and Irene Ervin; and his uncles, Ralph Ervin, Stanley Ervin and Lonnie Ervin.
He is survived by: his children, Camie N. Williams and Cassandra N. Baumgardner of Warren; his siblings, Orlando Ervin Sr. "Heather" of Warren, Mario Ervin of Warren, Sonja Parker "Sam" of Cincinnati and Tracy Whitby of Cincinnati; and his stepfather Nathaniel Whitby of Cortland.
