It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan John Garner of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughters, Audrey and Olivia; his parents, Darrell Garner (Gayle) of Wadsworth and Christine Sauner (John) of Cuyahoga Falls; his brother David Garner of Columbus; his grandparents, John Mascio (Rose) of Cuyahoga Falls, Helen Garner of Toronto and Elizabeth Sauner of Rootstown; his aunt Carolyn Roussel (John) of Cuyahoga Falls; his uncles, Doug Garner of Toronto Ontario and Pat Mascio (Kathy) of Twinsburg; his parents-in-law, Martha Holbert of Brimfield and James Lutz of Aurora; and his sister-in-law Nicole Mason (Bruce) of Barberton. He is also survived by many cousins, family members and friends.
It is the wish of the family, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made at any U.S. Bank to the Garner Family Memorial.
