He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence and Donna Raye Swords (Humphrey); and his brother Randall "Scott" Swords. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Richards (Bryant); his siblings, Terri Lynn Hale (Kenneth), William "Bill" Swords, Kevin Swords and Tim Swords (Kim); and his close friend Toni Lynn Buehrle. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
