He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Hamlin and Helen L. Hamlin (McCommis); and his brother Larry Hamlin. He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Hamlin (Vandal); his children, Carla Long (Dave), Angela Herman (Jeremy), James, Madison, Arya Hamlin and Destiny Hamlin (Joseph Rinehart, Jr.); his siblings, Geryl Johnson, Nathan Hamlin (Emma Campbell), Marcus Hamlin (Twanna Taylor), Linda Sanchez (Hector), Rita Hamlin and Marvin Hamlin (Cindy Jones); and his father-in-law Robert W. Ford. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
