He was predeceased by: his parents, Snowden Kelley and Mary Paul Kelley; and his siblings, Alverta, Snowden James, Howard and Juanita.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Kelley (April) of Cadiz, Michael Kelley (Sharon) of Dillonvale, Renae Dailey (Lee) of Wintersville and Kimberly Dodds (Kevin) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Jeremy Vermillion (Ashley), Rachel Kelley, Michael Kelley, Jr., Daniel Kelley, Josie Kelley, Justin Dailey (Sarah), Jonathan Dailey, Riley Dodds and Lincoln Dodds; his great grandchildren, Henry Vermillion and Rose Vermillion; his close friend Ferne Kinsey; and his siblings, Hedy, Jean, Clyde and William. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
