He was predeceased by: his brothers, Don Neff and Joseph "Duke" Neff Jr.. He is survived by: his son James Eric Neff (Erica); his grandchildren, Deric and Gatlin; his siblings, Robert Neff (Natalie) and Shirley Arledge; and his nephew Randy Hedges. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
