He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman F. Hinton and Mildred Hinton (Arledge); his wife Marylin Sue Hinton (Ricketts); his son-in-law Craig Hoover; and his siblings, Herman Hinton, Don Hinton and Sally Hinton Cruit.
He is survived by: his children, Drena Clyne of Westerville, OH, Casey Hinton (Kathy) and Judy Ortman (Tom) of Chillicothe, OH; his grandchildren, Chad Hoover (Carrie), Carrie Bennett (Emery), Corey Hoover (Melissa), Rusty Ortman (Michelle) and Emmy Ortman; his sister Beverly Hinton Schwalbach; and his siblings-in-law, Joane Goodman Hinton and Robert Ricketts (Kay). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
