We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2023, at the age of 99, Mary Elizabeth Mitchell of Adamsville, Ohio, born in Lore City, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Black and Ada Bell West (Wisecarver); her husband Clarence E. Mitchell Sr.; her children, Susan Knicely and Jeffery Mitchell; and her siblings, Roy Black, Goldie Jadwin, Faye Dutro, Mae Hittle and Thelma Black.
She is survived by: her sons, Clarence E. Mitchell Jr. (Beverly) of Zanesville, Ralph R. Mitchell (Cindy) of Norwich, Samuel R. (Andrea) of Adamsville and Daniel J. Mitchell; and her children-in-law, Kenneth Knicely and Susan Mitchell. She is also survived by caregiver for over 2 years; eighteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
