It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert McCort of Adamsville, Ohio, born in Belmont, Ohio, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. McCort and Mary M. Gallager McCort; and his siblings, Charles, Mike, Curt McCort, Jessie Workman (Fran) and Penny Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife June L. Starcher; his children, Teresa Derry (Michael), Robert McCort (Amy), Greg McCort (Beth), Curtis McCort (Leslie) and William Cody McCort (Bobbie); and his sisters, Terry and Tracy McCort. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
