He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. and Eunice Cole, Sr. (Lowman); and his brother Robert Cole, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Sanislo (Kevin) of Westerville and Erin Cole of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Avery and Liam Sanislo; and his siblings, Steve Cole (Peggy) of Ada and Carol Martin of Marco Island, FL..

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to St. Rita's Hospice of Lima and/or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
