He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert and Irene Shields, Sr. (Cheney); his children, Robert Shields (Hoan) of Dublin, Elaine Adams of Dublin and Teresa Stansloski (Steve) of Ada; his grandchildren, Travis Adams (Sarah), Jake Adams (Samantha), Nick Adams (Katelyn Tanguay), Cody Adams, Samantha Collins, Cierra Collins (James Johnson), Anthony Collins, Talisha Marcum and Ashley Marcum; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Autumn, Lukas, Kenneth, Oakley and Jackson; his sisters, Janice Shields of Lima, Barbara Shields of Ada and Patty Shields; and his son-in-law Tony Adams.
