He is survived by: his parents, Vera Hovis (Wehnes) and Albert Hovis; his wife Mary Ann; his sister Marjorie Dyckman (John) of Aston, PA; his children, Jennifer of Mountain View, CA and David (Jen Coican) of Cleveland; and his grandsons, Baxter of Cleveland and Graham of Cleveland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Ohio Northern University for the creation of an endowment fund in memory of Dr. Robert Hovis.
