Melba Puckett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Puckett (Ada, Ohio), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonzo Ousley and Josie Ousley (Prater); her son Donald R. Puckett; and her sisters, Vernie Robinson, Eunice Price and Stella Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Puckett; her daughters, Barbara Murray (Ronald) of St. Marys and Brenda Zimmerman (Robert) of Ada; and her siblings, Hager Ousley of Morehead, KY, Adice "Bud" Ousley (Helen) of South Dakota, Elmer Ousley of Lima, Lois Spiecher (Bert) of Kenton and Judy Wireman (Chuck) of Alger. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, private family services are being held at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Elder Gregus Smith officiating.
