She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ward and Ethel Ward (Hodde); her husband Charles A. Zuppardo, Sr.; and her son John Joseph Helser. She is survived by: her children, Janice Finnerty of Florida, Judy Podlesnik (Don) of Lima, Jeffrey Helser (Jean) of Ada and Jay (Tracy) of Lima; and her grandchildren, Michelle Sweigart (Joe), John Butler, Melissa Goodman (Jeremy), Scott Helser (Katie), Megan Lieb (Nate) and Jessica Luke (Donny). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services-Eastside Chapel. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Mary may be made to a charity of your choice.
