He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Rogers and Marietta Rogers (Hickman); his wife Wilma Hardy; his son Gary Rogers; his siblings, Hank Rogers, Alvin Rogers, Tom Rogers and Betty Mayhan; his grandson Corey Rogers; his great grandchild Jayson Hale; and his close friend Phyllis Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Jean Hall (Steve) of Kenton, Cynthia Sexton of Kenton, Mary Jo Furr of Ada, Chris Newland (Paul) of Kenton, Shawna Hale of Kenton, Rex Rogers (Sharon) of Kenton and Larry Rogers (Pam) of Kenton; his brothers, Gene Rogers of Florida and Johnny Rogers (Susan) of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Brenda Rogers of Tennessee. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Vancrest of Ada's activity fund.
