He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Maxine Fleming; his children, Kevin Plaugher (Christy) of New Albany, LeAnn Miller (Dennis) of Galloway and Mandy Stubbs of Hillard; his grandchildren, Allison Vermillion, Ethan Vermillion, Emily Vermillion, Kate Plaugher, Lily Plaugher, Grace Miller, Jackson Stubbs, Claire Stubbs and Parker Marsili; his siblings, Arliss Plaugher (Barbara) of Bluffton, Harriett Hall of Lima, Katie Turner of Waynesfield, Janet Young (Russell) of LaFayette and Luella DuVernay of Idaho; his close friend Betty Lyons of Ada; and his daughter Monna J. Vermillion.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
