With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith M. (Judy) McCurdy of Ada, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Schmenk and Margaret Schmenk (Brinkman); her husband Gary Lee Mccurdy; her daughter Amelia "Molly" Mathewson; and her siblings, Rose Ann Giesken, Don Schmenk, Bob Schmenk and Tom Schmenk.

She is survived by: her children, Mick (Frances Lacorte) of Cape Neddick, Maine, Joe (Emily) of Delaware, Ohio, Cari (Dan) and Katy (Eric) of Richmond, Virginia; her son-in-law Clint Mathewson of Ada; her sister-in-law Mary Schmenk of Ottawa; and her grandchildren, Kass, Paulina, Charlie, Sam, Jude, Rett, Lou, Cleo, Joey and Calvin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
