He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Earl and Aezelda B. Dearth (Robnolte); and his siblings, Russell, Don, Justin "Jud", Gerald "Jerry" Dearth, Dorothy Kramer, Eilene Padgett, LaDonna Greer and Janet Gault.
He is survived by: his wife Anita L. Long; his children, Tim Dearth (Elena) of Ada and Jennifer Bartley (Mark) of Findlay; his grandchildren, Evan Dearth (Danielle), Haley Dearth, Hattie Dearth and Tyler Bartley; and his siblings, Tom Dearth (Janice) of Ada, Kate Bear of Lima and Esther Penhorwood (John) of Mansfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
