He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dye and Rusha Dye (Blevins); his spouse Peach Wireman; his daughter Doris Jean Dye; his daughter-in-law Cindy Dye; and his siblings, Elmer Dye and Patricia Holbrook.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Dye (Deborah) of Findlay, Jeffrey Dye of Bluffton, Mike Dye (Pam) of McGuffey, Mickey Dye (Lisa) of Columbus Grove, Barbara Collier (Thomas) of Beavercreek and Melissa Woodruff of Kenton; his granddaughter Rebecca Shirk; and his siblings, Virgil Dye (Sonja) of Alger, Paris Dye (Sue) of Jenera, Robert Dye (Sheila) of Ada and Ann Zuercher (Steve) of Ada.
