Herbert D. Spallinger Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2020, at the age of 82, Herbert D. Spallinger (Ada, Ohio), born in Columbus Grove, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Spallinger and Lelia Spallinger (Beam); his wife Wilma L. Knell; and his brother Raymond Spallinger. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Massillo (Rory) of Ada, Kathy Purcell (Bobby) of Kenton, Karen Goodwin of Ada and Kerry Fuller (Shawn) of Ada; his grandchildren, Kai Massillo (Andrea), Danielle Ward (Chris), Jake Purcell (Jesse), Lindsey Howard (Shawn), Daniel Goodwin (Renee), Sean Goodwin (Holly), Lauren Gilgenbach (Jeff) and Reed Fuller; and his sister Naomi Kempf of Leipsic. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Ada-Liberty EMS.
