He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry D. Simon and Dorothy Irene Simon (Geiger); his son David Simon; his son-in-law Frank Plummer; his stepmother Evelyn Simon; and his brothers, Ronald Keith Simon and Charles Richard Simon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Castle; his children, Randy Simon (Lisa Hemry) of Ada and Robin Plummer of Kettering; his grandchildren, Trisha Hemmelgarn (Brian), Shannon Simon (Lori Fisher), Jennifer Long, Nicole Smith and Angela Plummer (Tyler Stringfield); his great grandchildren, Skylar, Gabe, Cierra, Alexah, Lukas, Kane, Lauren, Eli, Brooklynn, Braxton, Marissa and Haley; his siblings, Donavon Simon (Diana) and Sandra Poland; and his stepsiblings, Dan Daniels, Donna Jarvela (Jerry) and Connie Ferris.
