We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2020, at the age of 92, Elvira Sawiris Awad (Ada, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nashid Sawiris and Zahia Sawiris (Daguish); and her husband Albert Awad. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Joseph Awad, MD (Jane) of Nashville, Mimi Awad of Oak Park and Samuel Awad (Kathy) of Hinsdale, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Peter, Sarah Jane, Thomas Awad, Joe (Ashley) and Anna Marie Awad.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hardin County Council on Aging.
