With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Jean Tong (Ada, Ohio), who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carole Jean Tong to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Jett and Nellie E. Jett (Lansing); her former husband Wilbur D. Shaw; her husband Samuel Tong; and her granddaughters, Tiffany Haney and Cassandra McKee.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Shaw (Heidi) of Ada, Jeanne McKee (James) of Ada, Darla Dicus (Ron) of Portage and Bonnie Haney (John) of Ada; her stepchildren, Dave Tong (Gloria) of Moscow, Idaho, Candy Ferrante of Ft. Worth and Deanna Essinger (Don) of Bluffton; and her grandchildren, Alexander McKee, Harley Shaw, Jarred Shaw and Jenna Shaw. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Attendance will be restricted at the funeral and visitation based on space to accommodate social distancing requirements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Gospel Church of Ada.
