He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald William Starrett, Sr. and Sandra Jo Whitehurst Starrett; his grandmothers, Adrienne Meridith and Willa Mae Starrett; his brother-in-law Denny Fenner; and his pet Cosmo.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lucinda "Cindy" Fenner, Valerie L. Ferguson (Ben), Donnie Starrett II (Cindy Reed) and Belinda Jones (Dion); and his nieces and nephews, Holly Trotter (Jon), Sam Ferguson (Leslie), Donnie Starrett III (Heather), Wes Bailey (Megan), Tabitha Thayer (Brent), Tyler Schwallie (Tika), Landon Schwallie and Adison Starrett (Sabastian). He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and friends.
