He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Rapkin and Betty Wormser Rapkin. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schloss Rapkin; his siblings, Joan Kowal (Bodan), Michelle Steinbarger and Norman Parker (Barbara); his daughter Helen Rapkin Shibley; and his stepchildren, Robin Arndt (Steven), Daniel Gorton (Monica) of Ft. Myers Florida and William Gorton (Sandra) of Chandler. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
