She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lovell and Alfreda Lovell (Portlock). She is survived by: her husband Albert F. Smith; her son Jonathan Smith (Danielle); her grandchildren, Avery and Olivia Smith; her brother Steven Lovell; and her aunt Rita Wingo (late Vern).

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County S.P.C.A or to Niagara Hospice House.
