She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smiech and Jean [Koryl] Smiech. She is survived by: her daughter Samara O'Leary (Sean); her grandchildren, Kenzie and Trennan O'Leary; her sister Patricia Genovese (Joseph); her close friend Jack A. Foster; and her friends, Mark and Christine Foster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
