He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Smith and Bernice Smith (Gidbout); and his brothers, Clifford Smith (Sharon) and Randall Smith (Janice). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith (George); his children, John Smith (Cynthia) and Terrilyn Scozzafava (John); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Gabrielle, Jillian and Ian; his stepgrandchildren, Jason and Rachel; his great grandchild Arianna; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Alyssa and Ella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
