It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny R. Mort of Youngstown, New York, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on March 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mort and Alice Laverne Mort (Allen); and his mother-in-law Evelyn Gilmer (late John). He is survived by: his significant other Cindy Mort (Gilmer); his stepsons, Nicholas Casal and Adam Pike (Emily); his grandchildren, Joseph, Dominick, Aiden Casal and Madelyn Pike; his sisters, Patricia Tufano (Gary) and Connie Laper (Paul); his father-in-law Irwin Gilmer (Michele); his siblings-in-law, Joseph Gilmer (Dawn Eady), Eric Gilmer (Alison), Jason Marsh and Camille Uschold; and his aunt Robbie Luba (late Jack). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
