It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice A. DeFazio of Youngstown, New York, born in Port Colborne, Ontario, who passed away on September 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Turchan and Elizabeth Beniac (Uhrin); her husband Donald M. DeFazio of Ann's Church; and her siblings, Judith Kordik (late Joseph), Edward J. Turchan (Ruth) and Olga Turchan.
She is survived by: her niece Jodi Dilling (David); and her caregiver Lynn Bonghi. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Parish (3840 Macklem Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305).
