He was predeceased by: his parents, Sal Gizowski and Catherine Moran; and his siblings, Julie Larson of Utica and Robert Moran of Yorkville. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Jamie Moran, Kelly Moran of Texas, Rick Andisic, John Valvo, Emily Valvo of Syracuse and Brittany Moran; his grandchildren, Nathan James, Noah James, Katie Lynn and Megan Sara; his siblings-in-law, Mark Larson of Utica and Carol Moran of Yorkville; and also, Tom Hallenbeck of Utica and Carol Melendez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
