It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mia Matteo (Yorktown, New York), who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Herzenberger and Anna Legat; her former husband Walter Donelan; her husband Alexander Matteo; her son Peter; and her brothers, Walter Herzenberger and Charles Legat.
She is survived by: her children, Edie Flood, Debbie Reher, Patty Malan (Richie), Andy Matteo (Mary), Susan Donelan, Murray Matteo (Nancy), Ed Donelan (Laura), Rebecca Oldham (Mac), Mike Matteo (Suzanne) and Jim Matteo (Mayra). She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
