He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tassell and Stella Van Tassell; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Buckley; his children, Tara of Tarrytown and Patrick; his daughter-in-law Jacquie of Somers; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen and Steve Brown. He is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren.
