Though Vera may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her sister Sonia Lukashuk; and her half-brother John Boris. She is survived by: her husband Sergei Dychkewich; and her children, Diane Dychkewich of Rockville, MD and Peter Dychkewich (Julie) of Washington, DC.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Gregory the Theologian Church (1500 NY-376, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Vera's name to St. Gregory the Theologian Church, 1500 Route 376, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
