He was predeceased by: his parent Fay Walker Berry; his wife Marlene Williams; his father Eldon Berry; his sister Shirley Haycock (Harry); and his daughter-in-law Janell Newman Berry (Bryce).
He is survived by: his children, Lani, Glen E. Berry (Laura), Bryce Arlin Berry (Tyresha), Boyd Alan Berry (Cathi), Leslie Berry Schofield (Jon) and Lanis Berry Whitney (Lance); and his siblings, Delores Stoker (Deloss) and Jay Berry (Larene). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
