She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Vitale and Nunzia Travato Vitale; her grandson Anthony Michael Scarnati; and her siblings, Rose Cali, Anthony, Vincent and Charles Vitale.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest P. Scarnati; her children, Carol Ann Rizzi (Walter) of Ossining, Dr. Ernest Scarnati (Donna) of Bethany, Michael Scarnati (Mary Ann) of Yonkers and Anthony Scarnati (Carol Ann) of Montrose; her grandchildren, Michael Rizzi, Todd Files, Christina O'Donnell, Marisa Ruppel, Nicholas, Mariah and Dante Scarnati; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Liana, Angelia, Haley, Amelia, Elijah and Anthony Paul.
