He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wheaton and Dora Wheaton (Swartz); and his former wife Faith Wheaton. He is survived by: his wife Elma Wheaton (Tillinghast); and his children, Carol Ekes (Paul) of Holland, Patricia Stevens (Wilson) of Orange Park, FL, Barbara Hibit (Robert) of Olathe, KS, Donna Ervin (Danny) of Salisbury, MD and Douglas Wheaton (Karen Ivon) of Arcade. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
