He was predeceased by : his mother Patricia Steiner (Thieling); and his daughter Rachel Mae Steiner. He is survived by : his father James W. Steiner, Sr. of Machias; his daughter Sherry Groff (James) of Buffalo; his grandson Colby James Groff; and his brother Christopher Steiner of Machias. He is also survived by three nieces.
