She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Wixon and Doris Wixon (Willert); her son Randy Pierce; and her siblings, Harold Wixon, Charles Wixon and Dorothy Chapman.

She is survived by : her husband Donald Pierce; and her children, Vicki Gebauer of Yorkshire, James Pierce (Patricia) of Arcade and Janine Hardy (Leigh) of North Carolina. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
