He was predeceased by: his children, Roger E. Lynch and Valerie J. Lynch Richard; his parents, Edmund B. Lynch and Mary E. Lynch Pierce (Pyle); and his brother Shawn P. Lynch.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl L. Lynch; his children, Jessica Lynch Kucel of Mebane, NC, Kristy Lynch-Herringshaw (Brett) of Oppenheim, NY, Seth Lynch of Oppenheim, NY, Jordan Lynch of Oppenheim, NY and Kyle Lynch of Oppenheim, NY; his grandchildren, Valerie Richard, Liam Kucel, Lila Kucel, Austin Capece, Kaylee Lynch, Katelyn Lynch, Kellan Herringshaw, Wesley Herringshaw and Eyrik Herringshaw; and his siblings, Thomas Lynch, Greg Lynch, Tina Lynch, Brenda Lynch and Edmund Lynch. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law; extended family; and dear friends.
