Avery of York, New York, born in Little Falls, New York, whose life came to an end on November 2, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland J. Avery, II and Jean L. Madison (Bullard); his siblings, Donald Avery and Penni Rannals; his father-in-law Arthur Young; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Voorhees and Bruce Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Avery; his son Shawn Avery (Adrienne) of Salem, NH; his grandchildren, Jace Avery and Ella Avery; his siblings, Alan "Skip" Avery (Gloria), Kevin Avery, James Madison, Scott Madison, Lisa Dillenbeck, Darlene Grainer, Charlene Link (Frank) and David Richards; his mother-in-law June Young; his sisters-in-law, Amy Voorhees and Dawn Carpenter; and his close friends, Chad Walrath and Jeffrey Glanovsky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Little Falls American Legion Post 31 (100 W Main St, Little Falls, NY 13365). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
