He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Smith and Rella Smith (Thomson); and his wife Catherine Joan Austin. He is survived by: his sons, Marc Smith of Seneca Falls, Andrew Smith (Susan) of York and Adrian Smith (Lee Weiskott) of New York City; his grandchildren, Kirsty Northrop (Tim) of York, Amos Smith (Stephanie) of York, Alexandra Janiszeski (Jordan) of Lancaster, NY and Connor Smith of Boston, Massachusetts; his great grandchildren, Grace, Pierson Northrop, Miss Cora, Grant Smith and Ronan Janiszeski; his sisters, Lorina Joyce Noble of Pavilion and Rella Jacqueline Bruce of Durham; and his brother-in-law William Austin (Sally) of Boonton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.
