He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gilg; and his brother Peter Gilg. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Heather Gilg of Jacksonville, FL, Candice Gilg of Spring Hill, TN, Shannon Gilg of Canandaigua, Kyle Gilg (Lauren Fisher) of Caledonia and Carissa Davis (Donnie) of Boerne, TX; his siblings, Peggy Montemarano (Cook) of Cuylerville, Pam Gilg of York and Larry Gilg of Mt. Morris; and his mother Pauline DeLavergne Gilg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
